| The 6th School-Conference was devoted to the memory of prominent scientists, Academician V.N. Eremenko (1911-1992) and Academician V.M. Svechnikov (1891-1981), whose works created the foundation of famous scientific schools in the field of investigations of the phase equilibria and thermodynamics of metallic systems, that harmonically unite the rushes of physical chemists and metal scientists.
One of the main goals of these meetings was to create possibility of combination of experience and knowledge, usual to venerable scientists, with energy of young at maximally beneficial conditions of well-disposed communication, mutual interest and high scientific principality.
Starting with the 5th School-Seminar (Katsyvely, 1996), the conference became international. The 6th School-Conference, like as the 5th, was held under support and active participation of MSI, Materials Science International Services GmbH (Stuttgart, Germany). |
